About
Perfection is a theatre production by the Volksbühne am Rosa-Luxemburg-Platz, performed in German and English at the Prater. It is directed by Anta Recke, who adapted it from Vincenzo Latronico's novel Die Perfektionen in her own version. It follows Anna and Tom, who move from southern Europe to Berlin and come apart over digitally promised lifestyles. Together with Marta Dyachenko, Recke designed an arena where theatre acts as a place of assembly standing against curated Instagram realities.
