About
“Mauer-Stücke” is a permanent outdoor exhibition in front of the Märkisches Museum. Seven original Wall segments and an audio station with authentic sound documents commemorate the Berlin Wall as a symbol of Germany's division. The Berlin Museum (Stadtmuseum Berlin) presents the pieces, made possible by the Foundation for the Reappraisal of the SED Dictatorship; the graffiti include work by the artist Kiddy Citny. The exhibition is accessible free of charge around the clock all year, with no museum admission needed.
