About

"Shibari for Beginners+: Structures (Step 2)" is a six-week shibari course at Daruma in Neukölln, Berlin, aimed at people who are already comfortable with the basics of rope bondage. The course is run by Daruma, whose Step 1, 2 and 3 courses form a pathway from the very beginning of shibari practice through to the basics of suspension. Step 2 builds on the content of the Step 1 course, deepening and expanding what has already been learnt: participants gain a wider range of technical elements, a deeper understanding of common safety issues, and learn to construct basic suspendible harnesses and a range of floor ties and use them in play. You can come alone or partnered, ropes are available at the studio to borrow or buy, and the course language is English.
