„Windstille Nacht“ is an exhibition of paintings and drawings by the Berlin artists Ewa Finn and Katharina Poos at the Zitadelle Spandau. The show brings together Ewa Finn (born 1979 in Warsaw) and Katharina Poos (born 1961 in Berlin), two painters whose work is devoted to the subtle, the uncanny and the psychology of the unknown. Their ambiguous canvases and drawings carry the eye across motifs, pictorial quotations and allegorically charged signs without fixing a theme. Figures move through symbolic pictorial spaces that draw on religious motifs, Romanticism and current press photography.
