About
"Still Life" is an exhibition of works by Danlu Zheng, held at the Koppel Project. The London-based multidisciplinary artist, a graduate of Central Saint Martins, shows works spanning moving image, costume, photography and material experimentation. The exhibition traces her evolving investigation into the relationships between the body, materiality and the environment, examining processes of transformation in which states of completion, stability or disappearance give way to further possibilities. Its title evokes a productive tension between stasis and change, as regeneration is considered not a return to an original form but a process through which matter acquires new configurations and meanings.
