A late-night jazz show by the Dave Stryker Quartet at The Django, a jazz cellar on the cellar level of The Roxy Hotel. The quartet brings together Dave Stryker on guitar, Eric Alexander on saxophone, Jared Gold on organ and Steve Johns on drums. Stryker, called by Gary Giddins "one of the most distinctive guitarists to come along in recent years", has recorded 35 CDs as a leader and played with Stanley Turrentine and Jack McDuff. His recent recordings on his Strikezone Records label have reached the Top 10 on JazzWeek, with five hitting number one.
