The Jason Marshall Quartet performs live jazz at The Django, a cellar-level music room in the Roxy Hotel. Jason Marshall, a New York City baritone saxophonist since 2003, is known as a leading voice of the bebop tradition and plays many styles on multiple reed instruments. His composing, arranging, and playing encompass the joy and depth of Black American Music. Over the years he has performed with the Roy Hargrove Big Band, RH Factor, Aretha Franklin, The Temptations, and Chaka Khan, and has released several recordings as a leader, including 2020's 'Joy Unspeakable' and 'New Beginnings' on Cellar Live.
