Simona Premazzi Quartet

Simona Premazzi Quartet is a live jazz show at The Django, the music venue on the cellar level of The Roxy Hotel. Pianist and composer Simona Premazzi, called by Hot House Jazz Magazine one of the most fascinating and creative pianists in New York today, leads the quartet. Their repertoire is modern jazz with historical awareness, marked by counterpoint, strong melodies and groove, swinging between hard-swinging readings of standards, Monk-ish piano tics and richly harmonized ballads. Premazzi has played all the major New York jazz venues and international festivals across the US, South America and abroad.
