Vrenelis Gärtli

'Vrenelis Gärtli' is a theatre evening by groupe nous based on Tim Krohn's mythical Alpine novel, a co-production with the Kellertheater Winterthur. At its centre are two unusual figures, Vreneli and Bersiäneli, who move through the Gnuusch of a life – groping, stumbling, searching. For Vreneli, the journey through the mountain world becomes an inward journey: the search for identity turns into a search for home as a feeling of belonging. The evening wants to make human and inhuman longings directly experienceable and asks whether theatre can be a home.
