About
“Rawy presents: Between my Mind and I” is a shorts programme in the Studio of Wolf Kino. Behind it is Rawy, a newly founded collective of passionate film explorers that cultivates a community around independent SWANA (Southwest Asia and North Africa) films through curated pop-up events in iconic arthouse cinemas. The five shorts deal with home, memory and displacement: from exile on the California coast to a time-travel journey to 1930s Palestine and a painful return to an origin point marked by tragedy. They explore the ways we fragment our minds and yearn for comfort in our imaginations, asking: could we ever go back home?
