“I:RAN” is a theatre premiere. Behind the piece are Patrick Khatami (idea, concept, performance, production) and Salome Dastmalchi (text and direction). It is about being in-between, felt by a “German-Iranian” born in Germany who feels both, about origin, belonging and the parents' role, and about the longing for a country that, because of the regime's brutality, can probably never be visited.
