"Das Herz eines Boxers" is a play by Lutz Hübner for people aged 12 and up, a dialogue between generations about loneliness and anger and about the courage to change one's own life. It tells of Jojo, a 17-year-old sentenced to community service, and Leo, a gruff old man living in the protected area of a nursing home. The former professional boxer and the provocative teenager are both isolated from the world, but slowly an exchange of mutual perception, recognition and respect begins between them.
