About
The film series "Heim Weh" is devoted to the new West German Heimatfilm of the 1970s and 1980s. It was curated by Tilman Schumacher. With more than 30 films, mostly shown on analog prints, it presents critical Heimat films, commercial continuations and Lederhosen films, asking about longing and pain within the genre. A few productions from the 1950s round out the retrospective; the opening evening shows "Herz aus Glas" with a supporting programme.
