About
„Strich durch die Rechnung“ is a German film comedy from 1932. Young racing cyclist Willy Streblow cannot enter the big race without two spare bicycles, but he has no money to buy them. Out of pride, he refuses to ask the father of his fiancée, who owns a bicycle shop, for help – until two bicycles disappear and suspicion falls on him. The manager of the reigning champion Banz provides him with the bicycles in return for a favour, but during the race everything turns out differently than planned.
