About
Dreaming of Lions is an absurdist tragicomedy about euthanasia and assisted suicide. Gilda, a Brazilian retired teacher living in Lisbon, has one year left to live and wants to die while she is still herself. After four failed suicide attempts, she ends up at the company „Joy Transition International“, where she meets the shy funeral agency worker Amadeu. Paolo Marinou-Blanco directed the film.

Critics
The review praises the film's daring blend of black humour and profundity, calling it a gem for tackling euthanasia with bite. Few faults are mentioned; its tone and satire carry the film.
