About

»Transport: Frontline« is hyperrealistic puppet theatre in miniature format that places the audience right in the middle of a war zone: through the lens of a war photographer, they become witnesses of the events and a humanitarian catastrophe. The camera serves as a symbol of perspective, responsibility and moral reflection. With this production, the Estonian theatre for young audiences (Eesti Noorsooteater) explores the limits of what can be depicted, asking when an image creates room for empathy and when it slides into aestheticising suffering. The piece is part of the Europe-wide celebrated six-part theatre series »Transport« about mobility in a globalised world, featuring realistically designed miniature settings, 3D-printed figures and a 3D soundscape.
