About

"Roots" is a group exhibition at The Print Sales Gallery exploring trees, memory, cultural heritage and belonging through photography and mixed media across global landscapes. The show brings together works by Julie Cockburn, Paul Cupido, Gohar Dashti, Chrystel Lebas, Miho Kajioka, Michael Kenna, Ingrid Weyland and Pentti Sammallahti. It considers trees as living embodiments of origin, memory and belonging, symbols of cultural heritage and archives of collective memory. The works invite us to consider the reciprocal relationships between people and place and to act as guardians for the forests that sustain us.
