About
A Catholic priest volunteers for a medical experiment and, after surviving a deadly infection, develops an insatiable thirst for blood. While believers see him as a miracle, he struggles to reconcile his new needs with his conscience. He meets Tae-ju, the wife of a childhood friend who longs to escape her oppressive family life, and the two begin an affair. Desire, guilt and the prospect of a different life drive them towards increasingly radical decisions.

Critics
7.1Good
Critics praise the stylish, intelligent take on the vampire genre and its freshness, but fault uneven pacing, thin character development and a plot that falls into episodic spectacle.
