About
"Ein deutsches Leben" is a chamber play featuring Brigitte Grothum. Christopher Hampton wrote it from an interview Brunhilde Pomsel gave at the age of 102, staged by Philip Tiedemann in a German version by Sabine Pribil. It tells of the Berliner Brunhilde Pomsel (1911–2017), who worked for a Jewish lawyer in the early 1930s and from 1942 to 1945 served as secretary to propaganda minister Joseph Goebbels. The roughly 75-minute production has been running at Schlosspark Theater since its German-language premiere in October 2020.
